Policy No. 4:10:00:00

SUBJECT:  Safety and Security

Cleveland State seeks to provide a safe and secure environment which facilitates the educational process and community service.  Toward this objective, policies and guidelines are implemented and enforced.  Employees have a vital role, and subsequently shared responsibility, for ensuring the college’s success in its efforts.  Congruent with this responsibility, employees entrusted with keys to campus facilities are restricted from providing or “loaning” such keys to any non-employee or other unauthorized individual (including family members).  Key issuance and use is addressed in ClSCC Guidance Letter B-090.
All employees are expected to comply with the safeguards communicated through the college’s policies and guidelines.  Concerns relative to safety and security may be directed to the college’s executive administrators and the Campus Safety and Improvement Committee.
