Giving to Cleveland State Community College

Cleveland State has been serving the Southeast Tennessee community since 1967; providing quality education at an affordable price to all citizens who seek to advance their careers and improve their lives.  Access to a higher education is the central focus of our mission.  Generous donations to Cleveland State ensure that we continue to provide opportunities to many students who otherwise might not have a chance at a higher education.  We strongly believe that a good education leads to quality jobs and careers, and that quality careers build strong families and communities.  Investing in Cleveland State is an investment in our neighbors and Southeast Tennessee.

The Cleveland State Annual Fund

The CSCC Annual Fund provides direct and immediate support to the college’s most pressing operational needs including student programs, teaching equipment and technology, library materials,  special campus & community events, and faculty and staff professional development.

Endowment Gifts

Endowment gifts to the CSCC Foundation provide long-term support to the college in the form of perpetual student scholarships, faculty positions (Chairs) and other strategic priorities.

Capital Gifts

Even with State support the college must raise matching funds to ensure the development and renovation of our campus facilities.  Current priorities at CSCC include the development of a new Nursing and Health Sciences Building, and Athens Campus.

Estate Gifts

Estate gifts support CSCC in the future though charitable bequests, trusts, and gift annuities.

Annual Gifts

These gifts are presented to expend in the years in which they are granted.

Endowed Gifts

These gifts are invested in an endowed fund, typically scholarship, and only expend portion of the fund growth annually thus protecting in perpetuity the corpus.

Estate Gifts

Capital Gifts

These are specific gifts toward capital improvements on our campus including construction, renovation, or equipment purchases.

These are stocks signed over to CSCC that can be sold or retained by the college.

Whole Life Policies
